I was really hesitant to read. cinder when I saw it on the shelves in both bookshops, and in the libraries that I work in. I somewhat wrongly misjudged the cover as a very girly book, and therefore something that I wouldn't want to read.
I was working in a branch a few days ago and I picked Cinder up from the display and began to read the blurb. I was pulled in with curiosity and then after reading the first paragraph,in was hooked.
We're introduced to the character Cinder when she is changing her foot (she is a cyborg). Cinder follows the general story of Cinderella well, but with a different time period and setting.
There are a lot of dramatic twists in the book, although I was able to see one of them coming...
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a really good read!
I've linked it to the Amazon UK, so please click through them to buy the book (or get it from a library!).

Book Haul #3
I hope you all enjoyed my latest video! It's great fun just doing a simple book haul for you all :) I've listed almost all the titles and their links to goodreads below so have a look and see if you like the sound of any of them :)
There will be a book review of Cinder uploaded tomorrow (providing that the upload works). See you soon!
The Maze Runner Success!
[On Lunch]:
I spent a good few minutes sorting out and neatening the "teenage" section in a branch library today. When neatening, I found a copy of The Maze Runner (James Dashner) (brand new copy!)
I recommended the book to a YA reader who wasn't too keen, but the parent of 2 boys thought it sounded great and took it out for her sons! Just shows you how amazing some parents are :)

Welcome To My Blog!
Hello and welcome to this wonderfully empty space!
The main point of this blog is to add points that I miss out of my videos and to create a space with similar content, but in a different medium to my YouTube videos.
I hope you will all enjoy reading the posts that will often accompany my videos, and some ones that won't have a video at all!
I'm hoping to create a newsletter at some point before Christmas, so WATCH THIS SPACE!
